Barking & Dagenham College is looking for an ESOL Lecturer who is able to teach on a range from Pre-Entry to Level 1 for ourESOL young people as well as being able to undertake the teaching of Maths to ESOL learners.

Be able to develop and prepare course materials and associated lesson plans and schemes of work. Monitor and track learner progress and maintain up to date records. Support learners with learning difficulties. Participate in 16 to 18 ESOL team activities.

Be able to undertake assessor and internal verification role. Promote the College through marketing events and delivery of new courses. Take part in enrolment, admissions and induction of learners.

Understand the importance of Safe Guarding in the workplace and an awareness of Equality and Diversity. Undertake pastoral care and guidance to support learners.
