Preparing students for work

As a Gazelle College, we are helping to change the face of FE, by better preparing our students for work in the 21st Century. This means we need a staff team who are motivated, talented, and hungry for the change that drives us to do things better, both across the curriculum and in our business support areas.

Gold standard

In Autumn 2013 we were awarded Gold accreditation by Investors in People - their highest award possible – and we also hold the Disability Two Ticks Symbol, which means we are positive about a diverse workforce and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
As a member of our team you will have access to a rigorous programme of Staff Learning and Development to help enhance your  talent and career opportunities. To find out more about working for BDC, following these links:

London’s No. 1 College for Training that Leads to Work

As well as providing the highest quality technical training for our students, we develop their T-shaped skills (also called ‘softer’ skills) – such as confidence, self-belief, drive, team work, resilience, communication skills.
These help to shape their work readiness and coupled with networking, interview and presentations to several employers, our talented graduates excel when work opportunities arise.
Through our Entrepreneurs’ Academy and our Learning Companies, our students have access to real work opportunities, live briefs and commissioned, paid work.
